Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with developmental and behavioral disabilities, implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed behavior analyst. Your primary focus will be to support clients in achieving their personal goals and improving their quality of life through evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Collect and maintain accurate data on client behaviors and programs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop effective strategies for client care.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding medical documentation.
- Provide support and guidance to clients in various settings, promoting independence and skill development.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills related to behavioral health.
Skills
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Punctual and consistent attendance for client sessions
- Ability to accept feedback and adjust therapeutic techniques based on information from your supervisor
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, demonstrating empathy and patience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all aspects of client care.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Ability to keep up physically with preschool aged children (run, jump, sitting on the ground, etc.)
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
