Psychometrist Position

The Portsmouth Neuropsychology Center, LLC in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a motivated, conscientious, and reliable individual for our Psychometrist Position. We are seeking a detail-oriented and personable individual who can administer various cognitive/psychological tests to child, adolescent, and adult clients. Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Administering tests to clients with a wide range of psychiatric and neurological,conditions.
  • Scoring tests.
  • Completing a summary sheet of the client’s scores.
  • Writing a summary of the client’s behavior during testing.
  • Sending questionnaires to teachers/parents.
  • Maintaining client files.
  • Helping complete administrative tasks as needed.

The following qualifications are required:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with patients, clinical staff, and outside contacts.
  • Maturity and patience.
  • Ability to establish a good rapport with patients.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Self-starter.
  • Attention to detail and strong ability to multi-task.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

The position will be part-time and 4 days/week, between the hours of 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, startingimmediately. There is some flexibility with the hours of the position. The pay ranges between $25-35/hour based on experience.
