As an RBT, you'll play a pivotal role in providing tailored behavioral support services to students, fostering their growth and success in an educational environment.ProCare Therapy proudly collaborates with an outstanding school district in Lakewood WAin search of a dedicated paraprofessional to join their team for the 24/25 school year! **If your RBT license has expired or you haven't taken the state exam we can hire you as a Paraprofessional.**

Position:Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Job Description and Responsibilities:

  • Full time hours (32-35 hours per week)
  • General school hours (8-3), Monday-Friday
  • Assist the teacher in modifying materials to meet the specific needs of a child
  • Provide basic caregiving duties, support, and encouragement in all aspects of development
  • Assist with other personal or physical care assistance
  • A more detailed job description will be provided directly from the school upon a virtual interview.

Interview Process:

  • (10-15) minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
  • (20-30) minute virtual interview directly with the school
  • Offer is typically within 24 hours of the virtual interview if selected.

Tailored Support:

  • Provide one-on-one behavioral support services to either elementary, middle, or highschool student, ensuring personalized attention and assistance.

Behavior Intervention Implementation:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans crafted by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), employing effective strategies to support student progress.

Collaborative Approach:

  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure interventions' consistency and effectiveness, creating a supportive environment for the student.

Documentation Management:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and behavior data, facilitating informed decision-making and ongoing evaluation of intervention outcomes.

Requirements:

RBT Certification:

  • Possess certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), accompanied by a background in BACB accredited RBT training.
