Job Description

Ulster BOCES is seeking a certified, experienced, organized, and highly responsive Bilingual School Psychologist for a part-time, 12 month position at the Instructional Services building located on the Ulster BOCES New Paltz campus.

To be legally employed in this position, you must possess a valid NYS certification as a Bilingual School Psychologist. Fingerprinting is required. This is a non-benefit-earning position.

Rate of Pay: $135/Hour

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct evaluations and provide reports on school-aged bilingual students.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
The successful candidate will work closely with our staff to schedule evaluation appointments and provide a detailed analysis of the evaluation for the student's school district. Evaluations are done primarily in Spanish. Good communication skills, flexibility and availability on most Saturdays are essential.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Most evaluations are done on Saturdays.

Job Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience as a Bilingual School Psychologist and a current NYS Bilingual School Psychologist certification.
