About Job
Seasonal; Part-time:
Imagineerz is on the lookout for a superstar Extended Care Manager—someone dependable, proactive, and full of heart—to lead our after-camp adventures this summer! When the main camp day winds down, the fun doesn’t stop. You’ll be the captain of the ship, the chief of creativity, and the go-to grown-up for campers who stick around from 3:00–6:00 PM.
This is a key leadership role for someone who knows how to balance safety and structure with imagination and joy. If you can manage a group of kids solo with confidence, patience, and a playful spirit, we’d love to meet you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the head of fun and safety during extended care hours (3:00–6:00 PM), leading campers through age-appropriate games, creative play, and outdoor adventures.
- Run a smooth and cheerful check-out operation—making sure every camper is sent home with a smile (and cool creations!).
- Keep the space clean, organized, and ready for action—from art supplies to snack time setups.
- Be the go-to for bumps and Band-Aids, responding calmly to first aid needs and following emergency protocols in a cool, calm, and collected manner
- Stay connected with the camp team—looping in leadership on camper needs, schedule changes, and moments worth celebrating.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in teaching, or after-school program leadership (aka: you know how to manage a group of kids and keep things fun and functional).
- Strong communication and quick problem-solving skills (bonus points for staying cool when creations fall apart or a water balloon explodes).
- Confidence flying solo, a heart full of joy, and a magical knack for connecting with kids!
- CPR/First Aid certified
