About Job
Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our corporate telemedicine team, delivering high-quality, member-centered care through a virtual platform. This is not a gig-based or anonymous chat model—our therapists are embedded in a collaborative care model that integrates with medical teams and supports clients through structured, outcomes-driven therapy. You’ll be working with professionals, employees, and individuals from diverse urban and suburban settings, not limited to rural populations.
Unlike high-volume, transactional platforms, our care model is built around long-term, trusting relationships with our members. As an LPC on our team, you’ll have the opportunity to form deeper therapeutic alliances, follow clients through meaningful stages of their lives, and see real progress over time. This continuity allows for richer clinical work, greater job satisfaction, and the chance to make a lasting impact—without the burnout that often comes from high caseloads or anonymous interactions.
At ModRN Health, you’ll also be part of a collaborative interdisciplinary care team that includes nurses, physicians, and other licensed professionals. This integrated approach ensures clients receive coordinated support across both physical and mental health needs, allowing you to focus on therapy while knowing your members’ overall care is supported holistically.
Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual therapy services to members via scheduled, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions, focusing on measurable outcomes and personalized treatment plans.
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based modalities.
- Support members dealing with a broad range of mental health concerns, including workplace stress, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, trauma, and relational issues.
- Coordinate care with internal care teams, including nurse's, and physicians, to ensure holistic and integrated member support.
- Utilize EHR systems to maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical encounters, treatment progress, and outcome measures.
- Deliver care aligned with best practices in digital behavioral health, with ongoing participation in professional development, training, and peer consultation.
- Participate in clinical team meetings, case reviews, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards, including informed consent, confidentiality, and mandated reporting.
- Maintain flexible availability that accommodates members’ work-life balance, including the option for evening or early morning sessions.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted LPC license in Texas (additional state licenses a plus).
- Willing to obtain additional credentialing, if neccessary.
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
- At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience; prior teletherapy or EAP/corporate wellness experience preferred.
- Familiarity with digital care models and comfort using EHRs and telehealth technology.
- Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and the ability to work independently in a virtual environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to outcomes-based care and ongoing improvement of clinical practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with corporate populations, EAP services, or integrated behavioral health programs.
- Proficiency in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), ACT, or other evidence-based approaches.
- Crisis management training and experience navigating higher-acuity cases virtually.
Compensation:
- Competitive compensation based on licensure and experience.
- Up to $60/hour, depending on schedule, licensure, and credentials.
