Role Description

This is a contract role for a Recreation Therapist at Jasmine's Beat Therapeutic Services LLC. The role is hybrid, located in Dallas, TX, with some work from home being acceptable. The Recreation Therapist will be responsible for designing and executing therapeutic recreation programs, maintaining progress notes, and incorporating art therapy techniques. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with other healthcare professionals, assessing patient needs, and adapting activities to enhance the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of clients.

Qualifications

• Skills in Recreation and Therapeutic Recreation
• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) certification
• Ability to maintain thorough and accurate Progress Notes and documentation
• Familiarity with Art Therapy techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field
• Experience working with diverse populations is a plus
