Position Title: Group Facilitator

IN-PERSON


Departments: Addiction Recovery Treatment Services

Pay Type: Full Time (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5 PM 1-hour lunch)

Certification & Addition Experience requirements:


Must be Certified in Virginia as either:

Certified Substance Abuse Counselor-Supervisee (CSAC-S)

OR

Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC)


Must have knowledge and experience with the following:

  • Working with individuals with substance use disorders
  • Working with adult individuals with Mental Health Disorders
  • Facilitating meaningful and engaging groups
  • One year of Group Facilitation Experience preferred
  • Proficient Computer Skills
  • Organization & Communication Skills
  • First Aid & CPR- preferred, not required
  • TOVA- preferred, not required

Position Overview

The Group Facilitator will facilitate two groups daily in our Substance Use Intensive Outpatient Services (13-15 individuals) by following the company’s curriculum, which provides the group title, intervention, and additional worksheets and supplies. Group Facilitator must be energetic and engaging. We assist Individuals and their families on their road to recovery. The facilitator will be responsible for entering group progress notes, ISPs completing drug screenings, quarterly reports, electronic chart maintenance/audits, and assisting with individual orientations.
