If this defines you, come join our team!Job Details:Pay-$30.0 HRSchedule: Tuesdays-SaturdaysShift: Tuesday to Friday: 8:30a – 5p & Saturdays – 2p to 10:30pDuration: 17 weeks Location: Palo AltoBenefitsWeekly payrollHealth benefitsReferral bonus*24-hour accessibilityPersonalized serviceQualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in management, healthcare administration, business administration, hospitality services, or a related field preferredHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentExperience:Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a healthcare setting Scheduling and Insurance experienceBasic PC Skills (Windows, Excel, and Word)EPIC experience highly preferredResponsibilities:Ensuring that high-risk patients who are currently admitted have a scheduled follow-up appointment with their PCP before leaving the hospital, ultimately improving health outcomes and reducing readmission ratesActs as a non-clinical liaison/concierge/navigator for patients, providing assistance and support before, during, and after their medical facility visit going above and beyond to assist with their needs. Facilitates scheduling of physician appointments and care during in-patient and out-patient stays for key individualAssists in navigating the Stanford healthcare system including enrolling in MyHealth, medical equipment services, aging adult services and physician searches. Communicates patient and guest concerns to the appropriate departments, documenting relevant information when necessary.Provides practical assistance and emotional support to patients, families, and staff while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity in all interactions to include housing and hotel assistance, local restaurants, interests and events. Required Skills and Qualifications:Exceptional customer service skills: Ability to provide a warm, welcoming, and helpful experience for patients and their families. Goes above and beyond.Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and build rapport.Empathy and compassion: Understanding and sensitivity to the emotional needs of patients and their families.Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.Organization and time management skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Physical stamina: Ability to walk over 10,000 steps per day.
