About Job

Make a Difference Every Day – Join Wood Violet Recovery as a Group Counselor/Case Manager!
At Wood Violet Recovery (an affiliate of Sunshine Behavioral Health) we believe in second chances, transformative healing, and the power of compassionate care. Nestled in the rolling hills of Dodgeville, WI, our residential substance use treatment center is more than just a place – it's a purpose.
We serve adults ages 18-64 with a heart-centered approach that blends evidence-based treatment with the warmth of community. Our mission is simple but powerful: to turn addiction stories into journeys of lasting recovery. If you share our values of passion, integrity, dedication, and service, we’d love to meet you!
You’ll be at the heart of our clients' recovery journey — facilitating group sessions, offering individual support, and helping people reclaim their lives. You'll lead therapeutic and educational groups, encourage engagement in meaningful activities, and document the moments that matter.
What You'll Do:
  • Build trust and connection through client interviews and assessments
  • Facilitate engaging, healing group sessions and therapeutic outings
  • Observe and document behavior, progress, and participation in our EMR
  • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients
  • Support client families and foster open lines of communication
  • Respond with calm and care in crisis situations
  • Bring positive energy to a collaborative, supportive team
What You'll Bring:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • One of the following (or actively pursuing):
    • SAC-IT, SAC, CSAC
    • AMFT, ASW, MSW, APC
    • LMFT, LCSW, LMSW, LPC, or Licensed Psychologist
  • At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders
  • A valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass caregiver and criminal background checks, as well as a drug screen.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

At Wood Violet Recovery, we believe in the power of people—and that includes our team. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to building a diverse, inclusive environment for all.
