Behavior Technician
Job Description
Clinical staff will implement ethical and effective behavior analytic interventions for an adult client that are consistent with the dimensions of Applied Behavior Analysis. You will be expected to demonstrate competency with interventions and teach caregivers and support staff to carry out interventions under the direction of the BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).
Clinical staff will be required to create and maintain behavior data and behavior graphs as instructed by the BCBA. This position is primarily responsible for direct implementation of behavior reduction goals and goals for functionally related skills as outlined in the client’s treatment plan. They do not design intervention or assessment plans. You will be supervised by a BCBA. If you are enrolled in BCBA coursework, we can provide you with the required supervision needed to sit for your exam.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Implement lessons provided by the case supervisor
- Record data during sessions on provided data sheets
- Remain calm during problem behavior from thew client
- Show parents of clients how to deal with problem behavior based on supervisors recommendations
- Driving to the clients house and maybe meeting the client and parent in the community
- Qualifications and Skills
*Previous work experience is required- COVID-19 vaccination is preferred but not required Education in the areas of psychology, child development, teaching or any related field is preferred but not required
- Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT's) certified by the BACB are preferred but not required

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 18 per week

- PCM/ProACT/CPI/Ukuru experience (Preferred)
