Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our educational institution. The School Psychologist will play a crucial role in supporting students' mental health and academic success within the school setting.

Duties

  • Develop and implement safety plans to ensure a secure learning environment
  • Conduct patient assessments to identify academic and behavioral concerns
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students
  • Deliver patient care through interventions and support services
  • Collaborate with educators to address special education needs
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations for learning disabilities and mental health disorders
  • Offer crisis intervention when necessary
  • Utilize expertise in school psychology to enhance student well-being
  • Employ behavior management strategies to promote positive student outcomes

Requirements

  • Experience working with students in an educational setting
  • Proficiency in safety plans, patient assessment, and crisis intervention
  • Strong background in individual and group counseling
  • Knowledge of special education practices
  • Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
