Registered Behavior Technician – Mariposa Autism Service Center

Aprendamos Family of Services provides a comprehensive multidisciplinary program for children across New Mexico. Our team includes Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Speech-Language Pathologists, Speech-Language Pathology Apprentices, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Family Therapists, and more. We currently have opportunities for Registered Behavior Technicians to join our Mariposa Autism Service Center, serving Dona Ana County and the surrounding metro areas of New Mexico.

Registered Behavior Technician Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician who embodies the mission of Aprendamos: helping children achieve their fullest potential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate integrity, pride, and enthusiasm in contributing to this mission. This role begins as a part-time position (10–15 hours per week) with the opportunity to transition into full-time. While the primary service area is Deming, NM, candidates must be willing to travel to our Las Cruces clinic for training.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education preferred.
  • Valid and current driver’s license.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively convey information to various audiences.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide direct behavior intervention services for children in their natural environment and/or a clinic setting.
  • Complete required documentation promptly and accurately.
  • Collect and record data on child behavior and progress.
  • Adapt and modify individualized treatment plans based on observations and gathered information.
  • Utilize decision-making skills to assess and respond to situations objectively and fairly.
