Stars Therapy Services is a bilingual, family-centered early intervention program serving children from birth to age eight throughout San Diego County and Inland Empire. We work in-home with families to provide meaningful, culturally responsive ABA services that help every child reach their full potential.

We are hiring a full-time BCBA Assessor to conduct virtual and in-home Adaptive Skills assessments between the ages of three to five years of age. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to support families while developing your career in a supportive and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts virtual and inhome Behavior Analysis Assessments for Adaptive Skills

Assessments using the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales (VABS)

  • Produces reports based on data and assessment information to determine eligibility
  • Provides parent education on a weekly basis
  • Conducts treatment integrity checks and ensure accurate data collection
  • Attends team meetings, inservice trainings, and clientspecific meetings as needed
  • Conducts Applied Behavior Analysis Assessments using applicable tools and produces reports based on accurate data and assessment information to determine program eligibility
  • Schedules and conducts Adaptive Skills Assessment appointments with families both i in home and virtually
  • Utilizes evidencebased ABA assessment techniques
  • Reviews assessment results, and expectations with the family
  • Maintains information regarding delays and scheduling issues
  • Prepares and submits final ABA Adaptive Skills assessment report using approved

case specific templates

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in psychology, education, child development, or related field
  • Current BCBA certification with at least 13 years of experience
  • Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
  • Ability to pass background check
  • Available to work occasional Saturdays based on program needs
