Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
We are looking for a Licensed Therapist (LCSW or LMFT) to work in an exciting and fast-paced setting that will challenge one's clinical skills. PsyD/PhD's are also encouraged to apply. Primary responsibilities include individual and group therapy, court report writing, case management, and case conferencing. This is a great opportunity to grow as a clinician in a supportive environment and be a vital member of an interdisciplinary team. Supervision is provided, and formal training opportunities will be available.
Job Qualifications
- Licensed Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Experience with a mentally ill population (+1 yr preferred)
- Work with severe mental illness, co-occurring disorders and forensic populations preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Providing individual therapy for residents assigned to their caseload
- Conducting therapeutic groups for the residents
- Assisting in the development of Patient Care Plans on admission, quarterly, and for any significant changes in status
- Documenting weekly therapy sessions in the residents' chart
- Drafting court reports as needed
- Interfacing with referring mental health agencies
- Assisting counselors, when needed, in dealing with patient needs
- Providing crisis intervention, when needed
- Attending weekly resident treatment team meeting
- Any other duties as assigned by Clinical / Program Director
Skills
- Proficiency in psychotherapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT)
- Sufficient verbal and written communication skills to perform tasks required
- High degree of organizational and time-management skills
- Bilingual ability preferred
