Job Title: Special Education Teacher – District-Wide, Extended School Year (ESY) 2025 Summer Program
Location: Peabody, MA & Somerville, MA

Job Summary:
Join our dedicated team for the 2025 Extended School Year (ESY) Summer Program! We offer a range of specialized programs designed to support the diverse needs of students receiving special education services. We are seeking flexible, collaborative, and adaptive educators who thrive in a team environment.

Program Dates:
July 7, 2025 – August 8, 2025 (Highly potential for extension)
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (5 days/week)

Pay Rate:
$40–$45 per hour, based on experience and licensure

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality instruction and support for students with special needs in a summer program setting
• Collaborate with other educators, service providers, and administrators to ensure student success
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet individual student goals
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment

Preferred Experience:

• Working with one or more of the following populations:
• Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Students with multiple disabilities
• Students with emotional impairments
• Students with cognitive impairments

Qualifications:

• Valid DESE (Department of Elementary and Secondary Education) licensure in Moderate or Severe Disabilities (required)
• Prior experience in special education or ESY programs strongly preferred
