Position Summary: The Pennsylvania Institute of Technology is seeking a qualified adjunct instructor to teach core assigned courses each term in Canvas LMS. Evaluate student understanding through assignments, exams, and other methods to assess their progress in the course. Prepare courses in Canvas in advance of the course start date. Provide guidance, feedback, and resources to students to facilitate learning and success in the course. Manage the course's online platform, communicate with students, and hold regular office hours. Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours.
Required Education and Experience
- Previous online teaching experience preferred.
- Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, behavioral health, or related field. 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in behavioral health.
- Proficiency in using online learning platforms, educational software, and other technology tools.
Required Skills
- Minimum master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
