Location: Port Huron, MI – Correctional Facility
Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 8 Hours
Pay Rate: $50 - $60/hour
Job Type: Contract 13 weeks

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Behavioral Health Professional to join our team at a correctional facility in Port Huron, MI. This role involves delivering high-quality mental health services to an underserved population within a secure and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide behavioral health services, including individual and group therapy, within a correctional setting
• Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and monitor patient progress
• Collaborate with medical and correctional staff to ensure integrated and effective care
• Respond to mental health crises and provide stabilization support as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and facility regulations

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) license in the state of Michigan
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Experience in a correctional or forensic setting preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and de-escalation skills

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
