Extended School Year - Board Certified Behavior Analyst

  • Reports To: ESY Coordinator
  • Danvers Public Schools is seeking an Extended School Year - Board Certified Behavior Analyst for the ESY program. This is a non-benefited, part-time seasonal position for the 2025 summer. This is a Monday-through-Thursday program, running from July 7, 2025, to August 7, 2025

Position Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team during the Extended School Year Program (ESY) for students with disabilities.
  • The BCBA will work directly with students and other professionals to assess behaviors, create evidence-based interventions, monitor progress, and provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and ABA assistants.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and oversee behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to address challenging behaviors and teach new skills.
  • Supervise and train behavior technicians and ABA assistants, ensuring that treatment plans are implemented with fidelity and that data collection is accurate.
  • Analyze and review data to monitor student progress, make data-driven decisions, and adjust interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
