Fresh Start Marriage and Family Therapy, PLLC is a fully remote private practice based in New York State. We are committed to supporting relational and mental wellness with a client-centered approach. With 95% of our clientele consisting of couples, we are proud to provide therapy that fosters deep, meaningful change. As we expand our practice, we are seeking both fully licensed LMFTs interested in supervisory roles and limited permit MFTs working toward licensure.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT Supervisor)
Limited Permit Marriage and Family Therapist (LP-MFT)

LMFT Supervisor Role

Compensation:

During probationary period: $40 per client contact hour (caseload of 20 clients/week)
After probation: Full-time salary starting at $83,000 per year, with potential to earn up to $104,000 per year

Responsibilities:

Maintain a caseload of at least 10 clients per week
Provide weekly individual supervision to 5 LP-MFTs
Facilitate bi-weekly group supervision
Guide supervisees in clinical documentation, treatment planning, and client engagement
Attend monthly virtual staff meetings

Requirements:

Fully licensed LMFT in New York State
Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
Strong interest in supervision, leadership, and clinical education
Reliable internet connection and computer/laptop
Must reside in New York State

LP-MFT Clinician Role

Compensation:

Starting at $30 per hour
Caseload: Minimum of 25 clients per week, with opportunity to increase to full-time (30+ clients)

Responsibilities:

Provide individual, couple, and family therapy
Complete timely documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans
Participate in weekly individual supervision and bi-weekly peer group supervision
Attend monthly virtual staff meetings

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
Must be eligible for a Limited Permit in NYS (No MSW or MHC candidates at this time)
Must reside in New York State
Excellent communication, organization, and clinical skills

Client Demographics:

95% Couples (strongly encouraged for applicants with an interest in couples therapy)
