Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to identify behavioral needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Collect and analyze data to track client progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Provide training and support to caregivers, family members, and staff on behavior management techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Advocate for clients’ needs and rights within various settings.
Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical documentation processes.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation related to behavioral interventions.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
