About the Organization and Position

A well-known and respected non-profit in the St. Augustine area that helps children and adolescents in the foster care system is searching for a Clinical Director to join their team. Clients are aged 11-21 with a mental health disorder or co-occurring substance abuse issues. Therapy and wrap-around services are presented in an integrated service delivery approach that utilizes a team of individuals to comprehensively address the needs of the young person and their caregivers.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and oversee all aspects of the clinical department following the agency mission demonstrated by setting departmental goals and objectives. Evaluate existing contract compliance, monitoring and reporting to ensure all goals are being met.
  • Supervision, evaluation, scheduling, promotion, and corrective actions/performance evaluation/improvement of clinicians within the department
  • Regularly review and recommend changes in program services to meet client needs, oversight of program evaluation and quality assurance functions for department including assessment of applicable legal and professional requirements and monitoring treatment plans for clients.
  • Ensure contract compliance for department. Initiate, implement and monitor compliance with evidence based practices
  • Work with other members of the management team to assure successful communication and coordination between all departments, and participate in strategic planning
  • Regularly provide clinical training to clinical services staff and interns

Experience

  • A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy disciplines, or Psychology
  • A current FL LCSW, LMHC or LMFT
  • Two years’ experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families
  • A valid Florida driver’s license
