Position Overview
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at AutismCOE, you’ll play a vital role in helping children with autism build meaningful skills through one-on-one therapy. Working under the supervision of a BCBA, you’ll support clients—making a real impact every day in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to clients under the supervision of a BCBA
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies
- Prepare and organize therapy materials as needed for sessions
- Accurately collect and record data using clinical software
- Submit daily clinical notes and session documentation promptly
- Maintain open and consistent communication with the supervising BCBA
- Participate in ongoing training, performance evaluations, and team meetings
- Develop and maintain a warm, supportive relationship with clients and their families
- Ensure compliance with all HIPAA and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- RBT certification orprior experience working as an ABA Therapist (required)
- High School Diploma (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field is a plus)
- Experience working with children or individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, compassionate demeanor
Requirements
- Must be holding a valid RBT certification
- Proof of high school diploma or transcripts.
- A valid driver's license with proof of car insurance, a good driving record and your own reliable vehicle.
- An unstoppable passion for excellence and an unquestionable commitment to those we serve.
- Must be able to react quickly and to respond to sudden movements of the client
- Must be able to walk and stand 75% of the work day
- Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, crawl and sit on the floor throughout the work day or for an extended period of time.
- Must be able to quickly move short distances (up to 100 ft) to engage with client.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Willingness to commute to and from client homes and or clinics within 30 mins in each direction to provide services
