Contract Therapist – Private Practice

Achieve Counseling & Wellness, a unique and growing 501(c)(3) nonprofit group psychotherapy practice, is seeking a Licensed Contract Therapist to join our compassionate and collaborative team.
We’re looking for an experienced, motivated, and client-centered clinician who is passionate about helping adults thrive. While the caseload is primarily adults, we also welcome therapists comfortable seeing adolescents age 16 and up. Position Highlights
- Role: Independent Contractor (1099)
- Schedule: Flexible — you set your own hours
Current office availability: Thursdays and/or Fridays
- Caseload: Self-determined
- Location: Arizona (telehealth and/or in-person based on availability)
- Compensation: Competitive fee split, with a pay differential for EMDR-trained clinicians
What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families
- Conduct clinical intakes, diagnose for medical necessity, and create individualized treatment plans
- Maintain clinical documentation in alignment with ethical, legal, and practice standards
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive space for clients from all cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and colleagues
Requirements
- Independent, unrestricted Arizona license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist)
- Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field
- Experience working with primarily adults, with capacity to work with adolescents age 16+
- Comfortable with technology, including EHR systems and telehealth platforms
- Culturally competent and committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- EMDRIA-Approved EMDR Basic Training is eligible for pay differential
