- Demonstrates a proactive approach to understanding the CL/IBH context and needs.
- Builds and maintains reports and analyzes data related to patient/service volume, provider productivity, and revenues.
- Supports the build of a formal dashboard.
- Assists in the development of programs and policies based on analysis of data and identification of needs. Supports the development and communication of productivity targets and benchmarks.
- Understands NYU Langone systems and processes to problem solve system-level issues (e.g., billing optimization, documentation), build relationships, and navigate complexities.
- Effectively partners across teams, including: Fink & Stephen D. Hassenfeld (SDH) administrative teams to understand the Fink/SDH environment, implement and manage scheduling and registration workflows, and oversee billing; Sala Institute and Children’s Services teams to manage projects (e.g., PBERT, Coping Plan); and the department’s administrative team to ensure alignment with departmental policies and processes.
- Prepares presentations, including creating agendas, developing reports, and drafting slide decks.
- Supports the coordination of provider and trainee recruitment (e.g., developing job descriptions, gathering resumes, scheduling interviews, summarizing feedback, and liaising with the department’s faculty affairs team and department administrator on offers).
- Supports onboarding of new faculty and trainees.
- Provides support for the call schedule/Amion.
- Manages MCIT tickets for Epic issues.
- Represents clinical programs in internal planning meetings and/or medical center meetings as requested.
- Completes other duties as requested.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, health care administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, required.
- Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Familiar with Internet applications.
- Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
- Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently.
- Time management skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to Project/Program manage and to multi task while paying attention to details.
- Project/Program management experience, highly preferred.
