About the Opportunity

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) designs and supervises the provision of evidence-based mental health services and programs for children with autism spectrum disorders and/or similar developmental disabilities in response to physician recommendations in home, school, and/or other natural settings.



Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Independently conduct regular home visits for the assigned caseload to:
  • Supervise the implementation of the program
  • Monitor the completion of all necessary documentation
  • Provide in-field training to each direct report
  • Educate families on the importance of maintaining a consistent schedule with a number of hours that are clinically appropriate for the client
  • Efficiently and effectively communicate CSD's policies to families
  • Complete necessary documentation including :
  • Data sheets
  • Behavioral support plans
  • Progress reports and discharge reports
  • Other site-related documents
  • Monitor daily direct service appointments for :
    • Completion; i.e., rendering and accurate notes
    • Behavior Specialist cancellations
    • Family cancellations
  • Maintain appropriate progress notes for supervision hours and input MLS / HLS supervision hours on CSD's billing program.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of CSD's templates, forms, and other documents.
  • Write, sign, and submit progress reports to funding sources by the established deadlines. Maintain a database of all report deadlines for assigned caseload.
  • Meet daily and monthly billable hours goal as set by CSD.
  • Provide clinical support and training to assigned team of Clinical Leaders and Behavior Specialists by :
    • Holding monthly 1:1 and team meetings and appropriate trainings
    • Creating individualized clinical trainings
    • Facilitating and completing trainings as assigned by the Regional Director
    • Evaluating clinical performance of supervisees and communicating concerns to the Regional Director
    • Maintaining and documenting supervision hours
  • Supervise and guide staff / supervisees with all clinical processes including but not limited to :
    • Behavioral support plans
    • Assessments
    • Submission of monthly session plans
    • Maintenance of monthly log of lesson plans
    • Completion of clinical reports and data collection
  • Maintain communication with Human Resources and the Regional Director regarding administrative concerns.
  • Stay current with research, trends, and developments related to autism and related fields.
  • Attend staff meetings, trainings, and other meetings as requested.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    About You

    Experience & Qualifications

    • Master's degree in psychology, childhood development, education, pediatric therapy, or related field from an accredited institution
    • BCBA Credential required
    • At least two years of experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders and/or related disabilities in a multidisciplinary setting
    • Proven success managing a full ABA caseload
    • Knowledge of methodologies like ABA, ESDM, TEACCH, PECS, PRT
    • Understanding of School Continuum of Services and IEPs
    • Knowledge of community resources for children
    • Ability to work with diverse populations, reliable transportation, effective communication skills, and proficiency in computer software

    Physical Requirements:
