Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Care Coordinator to join our dynamic team of mental health providers. This individual will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, assisting with office productivity, and fostering a positive and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will be motivated, organized, and capable of managing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced office setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle confidential information and documents with integrity and professionalism.
- Answer 50-60 phone calls daily from clients and assist with strong customer service skills in a call center environment.
- Utilize EMR system to help clients get scheduled, process records request and provide excellent social services.
- Convey doctor's recommendations to clients over the phone
- Ability to utilize multiple computer screens, multitask, type while talking on the phone, and answer the phone in real time avoiding clients being put on hold.
- Assist with provider support
- Retrieve and summarize information from records, emails, meeting minutes, and other documents.
- Address and resolve administrative inquiries and concerns.
- Utilize reports to ensure coordination of care and social services is happening effectively on a daily basis.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism in appearance, communication, and interactions with clients and staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of clerical procedures such as filing and recordkeeping.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Education and Experience
- Degree ins social work preferred -MSW
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Prior administrative experience in a doctor's office setting is a plus.
Location & Commute
- McKinney, TX 75070: Must reliably commute or be planning to relocate before beginning work.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
