Licensed At-Risk Youth Group Home – Florida

Pay: $22.00 – $23.00 per hour (based on experience)

About Us:

We are a Florida-licensed group home committed to providing a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment for at-risk youth. Our facility serves all-male residents ages 8 to 16 who have experienced trauma and present with behavioral and emotional challenges, supported through holistic, youth-centered care.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with a minimum of two years' experience working with youth exhibiting behavioral challenges. The ideal candidate is passionate, resilient, and skilled in de-escalation, redirection, and behavior support within a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).- Work directly with youth in group settings to teach and reinforce daily living, coping, and social skills.- Accurately document behaviors and data in accordance with treatment goals.- Participate in crisis prevention and intervention when necessary.- Support youth in achieving behavioral stability and progress toward treatment milestones.- Collaborate with staff, supervisors, and clinical team in daily shift reports and treatment reviews.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Active RBT certification through the BACB.- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with youth, preferably in residential or behavioral health settings.- High school diploma or GED required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred).- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and positive behavior support techniques.- Shifts available include weekdays and/or weekends: * Day shifts: 6, 8, and 12 hours * Overnights: 12 hours- Full-time and part-time positions available.- Must pass Level 2 background screening and drug testing per Florida regulations.
