- Provide assessments and short-term counseling services using a brief solution focused model EAP, Gambling, Special Helplines (FRAP), mandatories.
- Provide counseling within a 50-minute session with documentation taking place during the balance of the counseling hour.
- Attend continuous learning sessions, training, and case consultations.
- Provide telephone consultations related to crisis or assessed urgent situations when required.
- Comfortable navigating internal operating systems, retrieving organizational information, and communicating with clients.
- Remain informed on relevant regulatory and legislative developments
- Meet sessional, containment, and other targets as defined by the Clinical Manager.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling/Education, or related field
- Examples of appropriate licenses include but are not limited to – LCPC, LCSW, LMHC, LPC, and LMFT
- Must be located in California & clinically licensed; anyone without a license will not be considered.
- Minimum of two years post-Master’s clinical experience.
- Must have some flexibility to take on afternoon and/or weekend shifts
- Excellent communication, problem solving, collaboration, cultural competency, time management and organizational skills.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Windows NT environment, basic typing skills).
- Strict adherence to the ethical principles governing confidentiality/privacy legislation.
