Summary
PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker to join our Behavioral Health Program. This opportunity will provide comprehensive behavioral health for the common conditions seen in primary care such as depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders in an extended primary care collaborative model. Our compensation range for full-time hires is $60,000-75,000.

Description
Perform psychosocial assessments that comply with evidence-based practices
Provide counseling and therapy for patients using evidence-based treatment modalities
Display competency as an individual, family, and group therapist
Maintain own professional development as required by licensing board
Complete required documentation and paperwork, including biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner
Work closely with patient and family and team to overcome obstacles in treatment
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Demonstrate cultural competency and commitment
Respond quickly to an urgent or emergent need
Maintain a caseload of 30-35 patients weekly and a minimum of 5 patients daily
Qualifications
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field required
Relevant therapist license in the state(s) practicing (LMSW- NY)
MUST have experience with pediatric and adolescent patients
Experience providing teletherapy to children and adolescents preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to effectively interact, work, and develop meaningful relationships with people of various cultural backgrounds
Knowledge of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent short-term counseling skills
Experience with discharge planning
