Urgently Hiring - Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

STAR Behavior Consulting, LLC. - is searching for a full time Registered Behavior Technician.

This position will work directly with our clients in the clinic. Hours of operation are from 8:00am- 5:30pm.

We offer comprehensive, supervised experience to support those enrolled in a BCBA or BCaBA program, giving you the clinical experience and mentorship needed to excel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide direct instruction and behavior support to individuals with autism and related disorders in the clinic.
  • Follow direct guidance, training, and instruction from supervising BCBA and implement programs, protocols, and interventions as designed emphasizing communication, social skills, independence, and behavior
  • Assist clients with instruction in independence to include activities of daily living and self-care
  • Record accurate data for both behavior recording and skill acquisition programs
  • Review service notes from team members; record session notes in data program daily
  • Comply with organization, state and federal regulations set forth to include professional development, safety training, confidentiality policies, and to adhering to the RBT task list.
  • Work collaboratively with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, and school staff for effective programs
  • Demonstrate positive attitude and professional conduct at all times
  • Participate in all team meetings and company-wide training's as designated by supervisor and organization

Qualifications

  • RBT Certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis
  • Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism
  • Proficient in medical documentation and terminology
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage behavior effectively
  • Familiarity with data collection and care plans in a behavioral health setting

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
