Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor to join our dedicated team in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic support and counseling to individuals suffering from substance use disorders and mental health issues. Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
- Provide specialized and individualized care.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health and develop appropriate treatment strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support clients with developmental disabilities, ensuring comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment plans in accordance with clinical policies.
- Facilitate support groups addressing relevant topics within the community.
- Stay updated on best practices and follow trends of mental health to enhance therapeutic approaches.
Drug and Alcohol Counselor Requirements:
- Must hold LDAC II certification at minimum.
- Minimum one-year experience in substance abuse field.
- Experience conducting group sessions.
- Minimum Education: High school diploma. Bachelor's degree preferred.
