Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing behavioral therapy to enhance the quality of life for our clients. The BCBA will work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to implement effective interventions and support strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral needs and goals.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Implement and monitor behavioral interventions in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
- Provide training and support to caregivers, educators, and staff on behavior management techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions through data collection and analysis.
- Adjust treatment plans as necessary based on client progress and feedback.
- Stay current with best practices in behavioral health and special education.
Requirements
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance.
- Excellent patient assessment skills to evaluate behavioral needs effectively.
- Ability to develop and implement effective behavioral therapy strategies.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with families and professionals.
- A compassionate approach to working with individuals facing behavioral challenges.
- Previous experience in special education or related fields is a plus.
