Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals facing various challenges, including those with disabilities, PTSD, and chronic pain. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a hospital or behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address mental health issues, including PTSD care and chronic pain counseling.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients with developmental disabilities and other behavioral health concerns.
  • Engage in clinical research to enhance therapeutic practices and contribute to the advancement of mental health treatment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay current with best practices in counseling.

Skills

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including developmental disabilities.
  • Strong research skills related to behavioral health and clinical practices.
