    POSITION: Collaborative Team Lead (1 opening)

    START DATE: 2025-2026 school year (per teachers’ agreement)

    STIPEND: $2000

    PURPOSE: The purpose of the Collaborative Team Lead is to foster a collaborative culture among teachers to improve student learning across the HF Professional Learning Community (PLC). PLCs are “an ongoing process in which educators work collaboratively in recurring cycles of collective inquiry and action research to achieve better results for the students they serve." (DuFour, DuFour, and Eaker, 2002).

    ROLE: The CT Lead will facilitate collaborative efforts within their department to implement standards-based curriculum, data-informed practices and analysis of student achievement. Key responsibilities include:
    • Facilitating Collaborative Team meetings, ensuring focused discussions, data analysis, and action planning (3 meetings per month).
    • Guiding the team in analyzing student data to identify areas for improvement.
    • Guiding team discussions around data-informed practices.
    • Supporting the implementation of common formative assessments and the analysis of results.
    • Fostering a culture of collaboration, trust, and continuous improvement.
    • Reporting progress and needs to the Department Lead.
    • Attend continuous professional learning to improve Collaborative Team facilitation and practices.
    • Meet monthly with District leaders to provide feedback and discuss next steps for quality Collaborative Team facilitation.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Demonstrated commitment to collaborative practices and student success.
    • Strong understanding of data analysis and curriculum planning and implementation.
    • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
    • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
    • Proven track record of effective teaching and positive impact on student learning.
    • Must be a full time teacher within the department that the Collaborative Team will serve.



    REPORTS TO: The Collaborative Team Lead reports directly to the Department Lead.
