We are seeking a dynamic BCBA to join our team and provide high-quality behavioral intervention services to our patients. As a BCBA at Family Behavioral Solutions LLC, you will play a pivotal role in designing and supervising Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs, conducting functional behavioral assessments, and collaborating with a team of professionals to enhance the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Provide clinical oversight and supervision to Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs) in delivering effective ABA therapy to our patients.
- Program Design: Develop and implement individualized ABA treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, targeting specific behavioral goals and objectives.
- Assessment: Conduct thorough functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) accordingly.
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor progress and make data-driven decisions for modifying intervention strategies as needed.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans across various settings.
- Training: Provide training to caregivers and staff on ABA principles, behavior management techniques, and effective strategies for promoting skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and intervention strategies.
- Professional Development: Stay current with the latest research and best practices in the field of ABA therapy, attending conferences and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Compliance: Adhere to ethical standards, legal regulations, and professional guidelines governing ABA practice.
Qualifications:
- BCBA Certification: Current Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in conducting functional behavioral assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and providing supervision to BCaBAs.
- APD Experience. (preferred)
- Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel to different locations as part of the role's "on the road" nature.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to adapt interventions to unique individual needs.
- Empathy: Compassionate and patient approach when working with individuals with special needs and their families.
- Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and organized to maintain accurate records and documentation.
