Job Summary

As a School Psychologist (LSSP) with Platinum Therapy, you will work in in-person school-based roles across Conroe, offering targeted mental health support to students. Responsibilities include conducting psychotherapy sessions, performing assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans.

Pay Rate: $30 to $64 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities

As a School Psychologist (LSSP), your responsibilities include:

  • Conducting psychotherapy sessions to address students’ mental health concerns

  • Performing assessments to develop personalized treatment plans

  • Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations

  • Facilitating group therapy sessions to promote collaborative learning

  • Utilizing clinical expertise (including post-residency experience) to provide high-quality care

  • Implementing appropriate interventions for students with diverse needs, including children and individuals with developmental disabilities

Qualifications and Skills

To excel as a School Psychologist (LSSP), you will need:

  • Texas State School Psychologist (LSSP) Certification or License (required)

  • Experience in a school setting (preferred)

  • Strong clinical and communication skills to effectively engage students, families, and educators

  • Commitment to ethical standards and evidence-based practices

  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
