Mental Health Counselor Limited Permit (MHC-LP)- Psychotherapist

This is position for limited permit Mental Health Counselors seeking supervised experience toward their NYS licensing hours .

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling (or graduating soon and will be permit eligible in New York State).
• Availability and readiness to work with clients 5 days per week (hybrid or remote)
• Strong adherence to HIPAA regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and a proactive attitude
• Strong willingness and interest in receiving clinical and professional feedback
• Community oriented, committed to developing increased self-awareness, adaptability to changes in technology, procedures, and delivery of care

Compensation and Benefits:

• All therapists are hired as W-2 employees
• $45 - $60 per session

• Full-time highly experienced support staff to help with any needs as they arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide on average 24 weekly sessions of individual psychotherapy (On average 5 appointments per day.) This typically entails carrying a caseload of 28 clients.
• Note: Therapists are welcome to see more clients than indicated above if they wish, up to a 40 hour work week, however it not required to averaging more than 24 sessions per week is not required.
• Daily completion of clinical documentation.
• Receive and readily incorporate supervision feedback
• Continue to pursue learning opportunities related to therapeutic modalities to improve client care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
