**Job Overview:**

Our practice focuses on providing compassionate and science-backed couples therapy and individual relationship therapy using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Sex Therapy, Relationship Education/Premarital Enhancement, Mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). The ideal candidate will understand the importance of quality relationships for human health and flourishing and be passionate about their work helping others to have more meaningful and fulfilling lives. In this position, you will have a satisfying work-life balance and an independent but warm and supportive “professional home” in a private practice setting.

This is an independent contractor position (1099), meaning that you will be given freedom over how your practice runs and a higher percentage of the therapy fee than a W-2 position.

· Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy or related field (e.g., counseling psychology, social work)

· Active and unrestricted professional licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT-A), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Texas Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A), Texas Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or related.

· Attended an EFT externship

· Passion for helping couples and individuals improve their relationships and heal from trauma

· Ability to work some evenings of the week would be highly preferred in order to accommodate clients (especially couples are in need of evening availability)

· Maintain client retention rate of 90%

· Competitive rates [60% of the hourly rate, which will vary from $125-$175 depending on experience and training (you take home $75- $105/hour)]

· Steady stream of referrals generated by the businesses’ marketing (from a current waitlist and ongoing interest)

· Access to consultation groups with other experts in the field of relational therapy- private practice can feel lonely and isolating, but working with us we’ll build in consultation and ongoing support with me and other therapists to connect and learn

· Referrals/recommendations to excellent supervisors for licensure hours (the choice is yours)

· Group supervision with highly-skilled supervisors in EFT and other models

· High ratio of relational hours toward LMFT licensure
