Interns are actively involved in tasks across micro, mezzo, and macro levels, including:
- Clinical Skills:
- Conduct individual therapy sessions
- Perform client assessments
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Organizational Skills:
- Participate in business operations
- Assist with marketing and outreach initiatives
- Manage social media platforms
- Develop educational and promotional resources
- Community Engagement:
- Facilitate workshops and group sessions
- Represent TKCC at community and marketing events
- Contribute to policy development and systems work
- Educational Standing:
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program in social work, clinical mental health, psychology, or a related field
- Commitment:
- Able to commit to 12-15 hours per week, including at least two full weekday hours, for a minimum of two consecutive semesters
- Passion and Interest:
- Dedicated to advocating for marginalized communities
- Interested in leadership roles, private practice, or clinic operations
- Eager to integrate business and clinical skills
- Develop a well-rounded skill set in both clinical and business aspects of mental health practice
