Responsibilities:
Interns are actively involved in tasks across micro, mezzo, and macro levels, including:
  • Clinical Skills:
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions
  • Perform client assessments
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Organizational Skills:
  • Participate in business operations
  • Assist with marketing and outreach initiatives
  • Manage social media platforms
  • Develop educational and promotional resources
  • Community Engagement:
  • Facilitate workshops and group sessions
  • Represent TKCC at community and marketing events
  • Contribute to policy development and systems work
RequirementsWe are looking for candidates who are:
  • Educational Standing:
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program in social work, clinical mental health, psychology, or a related field
  • Commitment:
  • Able to commit to 12-15 hours per week, including at least two full weekday hours, for a minimum of two consecutive semesters
  • Passion and Interest:
  • Dedicated to advocating for marginalized communities
  • Interested in leadership roles, private practice, or clinic operations
  • Eager to integrate business and clinical skills
