Job SummaryThe Case Specialist I (Per Diem) is part of the Rally Family Visitation team providing direct services to families referred through the Family Court, primarily in Marin, San Francisco and/or San Mateo. Specialists work with Case Coordinators and Supervisors to deliver professional services centering the best interest of children and protecting adult survivors of domestic violence.   • Acquiring knowledge associated with profesional visitation service provision, methods, procedures, and standards.
  • A minimum of 1-2+ years of experience in a human services related field (or years of education in a social sciences field beyond High School) is required
  • Knowledge of and experience with trauma-informed practices.
  • Experience working with children and/or families from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English.
  • Aptitude for conflict de-escalation, conflict resolution, and limit setting
  • Ability to identify when to escalate issues and situations to senior providers
  • General PC knowledge
  • High school graduation/GED
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with families experiencing obstacles or in conflict, primarily domestic violence.
  • Strong knowledge of child development, child abuse prevention, and child exposure to domestic violence
  • Experience with case management and/or social work
  • Fluency in a second language preferred, particularly Bilingual/Bicultural Spanish or Chinese
  • Database knowledge and experience.
  • Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related field.
