LEEP Forward a therapeutic Clinic and Quantum LEEP Academy , a K-8 Independent School Program is now hiring a Mental Health Professional for both group work and independent caseload. This position may be located at either space. LEEP Forward is in the West Loop neighborhood and Quantum LEEP Academy is located in the Ravenswood neighborhood.

LCPC (preferred) or LPC is required for this position. Licensure by applicable Illinois state requirements.

LEEP Forward and Quantum LEEP Academy programming is in a multi-aged groups, with a particular focus on social/emotional development and individualized goals. Children enrolled in our programming are between the ages of 2-14 years old with a variety of developmental differences, including autism.

Applicants should demonstrate:

• Leadership qualities to coach and train peers
• The ability to support and work collaboratively with Paraprofessionals, Staff, Related Service Providers and Administration to maintain overall quality of programming.
• Excellent communication with parents.
• All applicants must have strong problem-solving and crisis-management skills.
• All applicants must have experience working with children who may have developmental delays such as autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, or developmental delays.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The professional must effectively communicate assessments and care plans to parents and the multidisciplinary team
