American Adoptions of Florida a licensed child placing adoption agency is seeking passionate, committed social workers. We are often asked, “What it is like to work in adoption?”

American Adoptions, a licensed child-placing agency is seeking contract social workers or counselors in Jacksonville, Florida. You must have a degree in social work, counseling or related field. Contract workers complete work on a PRN basis and paid by the case with travel expenses reimbursed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides education, guidance and support to birth parents through face to face interactions. Also complete assessments and case management services.
  • Completes documentation in case notes log
  • Completes Home Study and Post Placement services to Adoptive Families
  • Attends court when needed
  • Communicates regularly with supervisor, National Office and team of adoption professionals.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Evenings as needed
  • Weekends as needed
