Addictions Counselor: FULL TIME POSITION

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Maintains a caseload as assigned and in accordance with COMAR and CARF regulations.
• Performs individual therapy with patients on a regular basis as well as emergency intervention.
• Documents patient progress and all interventions in the patient record.
• Formulates individualized treatment plans with patients.
• Facilitates counseling groups and completes all documentation.
• Participates in individual/group supervision.
• Attends Treatment Team and in-service training meetings.
• Attends all other required meetings.
• Position is Monday - Friday 8 hours per day with occasional weekend shift.

Education Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of an AA degree in Counseling or other Human Services Field.

Other Requirements:

• Must be certified under the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists as a CSC-AD or a CAC-AD.
• Must have at least two years of Counseling experience.
• Must comply with all Certification or Licensing requirements.

Salary Range: $55,656 - $65,61 depending upon education, certification and experience.
