WHO WE ARE
Personalized academic and SEL guidance for adolescents and their families.
K12 Ally is a school or adolescent counseling professional using data-driven insights from a confidential data ecosystem, and from KnoMe.app, a student-owned self-discovery app; to offer periodic, year-over-year, objective guidance to a student and their family/caregiver.
Based on privileged insights shared by the student from their KnoMe Profile, K12 Allies recommend additional assessments, extracurricular activities, improvement in daily habits (nutrition, sleep, physical activity), emotional wellness apps, and other preventative care; and the use of existing resources available from schools, communities, and health plans. If authorized by the student/family, you will support the efforts of School Counselor and Teachers with the results of assessments (cognitive, attention difficulties, etc), Adaptive Learning Plans, and periodic reports.

- With reasonable exceptions, you affirm that it is in the child's best interest to affirm and transparently collaborate and communicate with families, parents, foster care parents and agencies and other guardians; recognizing that the vast majority of a child's time is spent, and that their formation, and social and emotional development primarily happens in out-of-school settings.
- You are looking for and have the flexibility in your life and work schedules to consider becoming your own boss.
- You see yourself as an education entrepreneur, but most of all, you are driven to find and deliver the tools and support - personalized for each student and family - to help a student thrive.
- You have accumulated the life experience necessary to be a valuable advisor to students and families.
