Our family-owned SUD treatment program is growing and we're seeking LADC and ADC-T candidates passionate about working with people seeking recovery. We offer a casual, supportive, team-oriented work environment with competitive salaries.

This position is for the hours of Tuesday through Friday from 1 PM - 9:30 PM and Saturdays from 8:30 AM - 5 PM and includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus! Starting wage is $80,000-$90,000.

Our primary counselors facilitate groups and support clients through individual sessions, crisis management, and maintaining current treatment plans. Counselors must be able to build a positive therapeutic rapport with clients to promote their chosen path of recovery.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provides individual services and a variety of group services to address substance use and topics as stated in MN Statute 245G.01 subd 24.
• Responsible for developing and planning own group curriculum and activities.
• Develop and maintain required documentation for assigned caseload, including initial treatment plans, weekly treatment plan reviews, discharge summaries, and clinical notes for group and individual sessions.
• Maintain contact with collaborating agencies such as probation officers, case managers, child protection workers, and other parties involved in a client's treatment & recovery.

Requirements:

• Must have current Minnesota LADC or ADC-T
• Must be able to pass a Minnesota DHS background study
• Bachelor’s Degree in Substance Use Counseling or related field, or equivalent training
• Excellent computer skills, including experience with using electronic health records
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds
• CPR/First Aid training preferred
• Two years free of any problems associated with substance use.
• Must have a minimum of 12 hours of training in co-occurring disorders that includes competencies related to philosophy, trauma-informed care, screening, assessment, diagnosis and person-centered treatment planning, documentation, programming, medication, collaboration, mental health consultation, and discharge planning.
